Yes, use ¼-1/2 cup in pre-wash cycle or add directly to wash cycle. 

For heavily soiled items and old odors,
pre-treat – rubbing EcoStrong directly into soiled area. Let stand for 5-10
minutes before washing.  Always wash in
warm water. DO NOT use bleach.

Yes, this can be added to a carpet clear. We recommend diluting the product by 5 times with water.

It has a light citrus fragrance that fades away after 24 hours.
