No, applying a bit of water helps keep everything moist longer but it will work even without this step. We do recommend it however.
Tips
Here are a few tips to get the best results from our Outdoor Odour Eliminator.
- Shake the bottle vigorously before every use. This prevents the different ingredients from settling. Shaking the bottle makes sure the treatment is evenly applied.
- Do not use other chemicals with this treatment. The liquid contains beneficial enzyme producing bacteria that can be harmed if they come into contact with chemicals like bleach.
- For the best results apply in the evening. This limits evaporation and allows the treatment to work for longer.
- Lightly over spray the recently treated area with water before it dries. (Not necessary but will make the treatment even more effective)
